Nainggolan Set To Become The First Signing Of The Luis Enrique Era At Arsenal
Arsenal have joined the race to sign Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to reports.
The midfielder has been linked with a move to Chelsea for quite a while now, and Jose Mourinho’s determination to sign a quality midfielder to partner Paul Pogba means that United are involved in the race as well.
However, Arsenal could turn out to be the frontrunners in the hunt for the midfielder, depending on who is anointed as Arsené Wenger’s successor at the end of the season.
Luis Enrique has been tipped as the most likely candidate to take over the hot seat, and reports suggest that the former Barcelona manager will be handed a relatively modest £50 million budget to start off a new era at the club.

According to The Sun, the incoming boss is willing to spend a majority of that amount on the signature of Nainggolan.
The Belgian is believed to be worth around £45 million, which would leave Enrique with just another £5 million.

However, a number of players are set to leave the Gunners in the summer, including the likes of Callum Chambers, Shkodran Mustafi, and Aaron Ramsey.
These sales would provide the club and the new manager with additional funds, in case he requires even more players to start off life at The Emirates post Wenger.
