Football is often seen as a life saver to a majority of its fans. It is the one sport that can make people from all over the world unite together as one, irrespective of gender, religion, caste, or creed, and share their love for the beautiful game.

However, Adidas are attempting to take it up a notch and help save not only the lives of millions of people, but also the planet as we know it.

How do they intend to do so? By doing what they do best, and launching another one of their classy, impeccably designed football kits, of course.

There is a lot more to Manchester United’s new leaked third kit than being just another new jersey that players will wear for another 12 months, though.

The stunning navy blue shirt, which includes a golden United badge beside a golden adidas badge, along with the sportswear giant’s traditional three lines running along either side, appears to have a huge part in saving the environment.

Rumours suggest that each replica jersey will be made out of recycled plastic recovered from oceans around the world.

Adidas have partnered with Parley for the Oceans, an organization that aims to raise awareness for the preservation and protection of the oceans, in order to make this jersey possible.

Every shirt manufactured by the German company is also set to feature ‘For The Oceans’, Parley’s slogan, on the inner side of the collar.
