Mourinho Plotting Shock Move For Premier League Playmaker
Jose Mourinho is set to make an audacious attempt to sign Christian Eriksen in the summer, as per reports.
United and Tottenham Hotspur have not been the best of pals in the transfer market, something that dates back to when the Reds stole Dimitar Berbatov off their books back in 2008. Since then, not a single player has left the Lilywhites to join United.
That hasn’t stopped rumours about almost every Spurs player moving to Old Trafford though, with Harry Kane, Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier, Dele Alli, and a few others linked to the club at some point as well.

Christian Eriksen now joins that list, as transfermarketweb claim that Mourinho is eager to see a deal happen, and his side is reportedly ‘pushing hard’ to make it go through.

Eriksen has established himself as one of the Premier League’s best playmakers since his arrival at Tottenham in 2013. He is known for his crossing and vision, and is a dead-ball specialist.
United would do wonders with a player of his quality alongside Paul Pogba, but they aren’t alone in the chase for the Denmark international.
Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are also keen on the 26-year-old, as the duo look to put up a better fight for the Champions League trophy next season.
