Manager Confirms Brazilian’s Premier League Move
Anderson Talisca appears all set to complete his move to the Premier League this summer.
The Brazilian spent the entire season away from his parent club Benfica, on loan at Besiktas. But with the Turkish outfit unable to sign the player permanently by activating his buy-out clause, the forward looks set to make a switch elsewhere.
Talisca has a number of suitors looking to secure his services, with English clubs Everton, Liverpool, and Wolves believed to be amongst the interested parties.
However, as per O Jogo, Manchester United have not only entered the race to secure the 24-year-old’s signature recently, but have apparently stolen a march on their fellow English rivals as well.

Jose Mourinho has been a long-term admirer of the 24-year-old, which is why he has wasted no time in submitting a £35 million bid.

This offer is expected to be accepted by Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira, as the sum is significantly higher than the player’s buyout clause. Moreover, Talisca is also reported to be ‘excited’ about moving to the Theatre of Dreams.
The negotiations between the Red Devils and the player’s representatives are still in the early stages, but the source indicates that this transfer is quite possibly a done deal already, as all parties are eager to see it to fruition.

Following Besiktas’ final game against Sivasspor on Saturday, manager Senol Gunes was asked about the future of Talisca, to which he replied: “I am sorry that Talisca is gone, he’ll be a competitor to Cenk Tosun in the Premier League.”
When asked if this statement meant the Brazil international was set to join Wolves, Gunes teased: “Look higher.”
With his move to England effectively confirmed, it remains to be seen whether this exciting talent does end up joining Manchester United, as claimed by the Portuguese news outlet.
