Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Marouane Fellaini this summer.

The Belgium international is likely to end his time at Old Trafford, after having rejected several new contract offers.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is a huge fan of the player, and the Portuguese manager made multiple attempts to keep hold of him throughout the season. But the former Everton man has made his mind up, and wants to leave.

Fellaini will be a free agent this summer, as his contract expires on July 1. Multiple clubs have already begun talks with the player over a possible move this summer.

Inter and Arsenal are the clubs to have shown early interest in the signing the 30-year old, but the duo has supposedly backed out due to his £120,000-a-week wages demand.

According to Paris United, however, PSG’s sporting director, Antero Henrique, will be willing to match his demand in an attempt to bring him to France.

Henrique considers Fellaini could be a bargain signing since he comes for free. But the manager, Thomas Tuchel, doesn’t fancy a move for the Belgian.

Fellaini was the first signing of the post-Ferguson era, as former boss David Moyes paid £27.5 million to sign him from Everton on deadline day 2013. The midfielder has made 156 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 20 goals in all competitions.

Manchester United have already completed the signing of Fred this week, with the Brazilian likely to fill in the boots of Michael Carrick, who retired this season.

Mourinho is also lining up another midfielder for this summer, which clearly indicates that he has given up on Fellaini. According to reports, the Reds’ boss is eyeing moves for Lazio’s Milinkovic-Savic as well as PSG star Marco Verratti.
