As per trusted transfer source, Craig Norwood and the BBC, Manchester United are all set to announce their third signing of the summer later this week and it will arrive in the form of Stoke City goalkeeper Lee Grant for a reported sum of £1.5 million.
The 35-year-old Englishman is expected to be the third-choice keeper below Sergio Romero and David De Gea. This has been necessitated by the looming exit of Sam Johnstone, with West Brom interested while their Portuguese youngster Joel Pereira is likely to be sent out on loan for the season.

Grant has to his name a long career spanning over 500 caps with the likes of Derby, Sheffield Wednesday, and Burnley prior to the Potters.
This will not be the signing that Manchester United fans will be looking for as it is unlikely that Grant will get extensive play time at Old Trafford any time soon.
De Gea has had a disappointing outing with Spain in Russia, being eliminated against Croatia while Romero couldn’t make the trip at all virtue of apparent injury.
Supporters will now be hoping that United have some other deal up their sleeve if the club truly wishes for dominance next season.
