What Zlatan Ibrahimovic Said To Paul Pogba After World Cup Win
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has continued his support for former Manchester United teammate Paul Pogba, and he was delighted to see the Frenchman win the FIFA World Cup 2018.
Pogba impressed one and all after scoring a crucial second half goal for France in the 4-2 win at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
The midfielder was supported by Zlatan last month during the group stages, and on Sunday, he took to Twitter and stated that the 25-year-old’s game speaks for itself.
The Swede posted a photo of Pogba with the trophy in the dressing room, and congratulated the French team for the victory.

Pogba has been in the limelight since quite sometime now, and headlines ran throughout the 2017-18 season, notably for his off-pitch antics, as he endured an inconsistent second half of the campaign.

From hairstyles, fashion choices and his celebrity lifestyle, Pogba was criticised heavily by the media and pundits alike. But the Frenchman put everything to rest with a fabulous performance in the semis as well as the finale.
A few weeks ago, Zlatan had stated that the negative media coverage comes from a point of jealousy, as he sympathised with his 25-year-old.

“Pogba is controversial, the media always talks about him and I think this is out of jealousy,” Ibrahimovic told BeIN Sports. “He has a big salary and always plays at the big matches and tournaments.”
