OFFICIAL: Manchester United Forward Departs From The Club

While the transfer window has ended for the Premier League, it has only occurred with regard to their purchasing power, with most other European clubs free to see their transfer business run till the end of August.
While most English clubs have decided not to sell any of their players due to their handicap of not being able to purchase replacements, this provides great opportunities for the sides to rid or loan themselves of surplus talent.
Now, it appears that Manchester United are on suite doing just that, as James Wilson has departed Old Trafford to join Scottish club Aberdeen on loan.
An official statement from the club read: “Manchester United striker James Wilson has sealed a loan move to Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen for the rest of the season.”

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes had this to say about Wilson: “I am absolutely delighted to secure James on a season-long loan as he is a player I feel will very quickly become an important member of the squad for us.

“He is a real quality player, who I think will suit the way we play, and, having spoken to him, I think he sees this move as a real opportunity for him.
There were other clubs interested in taking James but he feels this is the right place for him to continue his development. I’d also like to thank Manchester United for the part they played in making the loan happen.”

The 22-year-old is one of United’s promising strikers, and the academy graduate’s senior debut with a brace against Hull City in 2014 has still left a strong mark on several supporters.
The club and its fans will now be hoping that this loan move will prove beneficial for the youngster, and in the long run, for the franchise itself.
