Every United Fan Will Agree With Gary Neville’s Comments On Ed Woodward

Manchester United endured a difficult summer in terms of transfers, and manager Jose Mourinho’s wish of adding a central defender, amongst other recruits, went down the drain.

The Reds have a host of promising defenders, but none are world class. However, it is the exact same defence that shipped in the second fewest goals in the Premier League last term. Therefore, many things need to put into consideration here.

Despite having faced a difficult pre-season tour of the USA as well, United got off to a decent start this campaign with a 2-1 win against Leicester City at home.

But this weekend’s loss was a surprising one against Brighton, as defensive mistakes cost United the game, which has led to former Red Devil and current football pundit, Gary Neville, lashing out at club CEO Ed Woodward.

Speaking on Monday Night Football, Neville stated that Woordword needs to be more active with his body language and not be stoic after matches.

“The CEO of the football club sat in his spot for two minutes after the game and I don’t want to see him do that,” said the decorated right-back.

“At the end of the game, stand up, shake the hands of the opposition, tell him well done, smile and be bigger than that.
