Age is just a number for many in the world, but it is not even that for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The 37-year-old has played for the biggest clubs in Europe, broken records, won hearts, and is now doing the same in the MLS.

The current LA Galaxy star made his move there after being released by Manchester United last season, and what many saw as a retirement transfer, it has proved to be anything but.

The big Swede has been dominating the United States, and is wowing one and all with his acrobatic goals, pinpoint assists, and overall display of talent.

With 21 goals in 25 games so far, Zlatan has seemed to impress quite a few, and sparked interest from two of his former sides in Europe.

The sleeping giants of Italy, AC Milan, and the fallen giants of England, Manchester United, are both rumoured to be in a two-horse race to bring the forward back to the club.

If reports from La Gazzetta Dello Sport are true, then the Serie A side is looking to re-sign Zlatan as a backup option for Gonzalo Higuain, and will be matching his current €4m-a-year contract to convince him to make the switch.

Meanwhile, Irish Daily Mirror suggest that a shock return to Old Trafford in January could also be possible for the experienced forward, with Mourinho desperate to bring his reputation and the club back on track.

While Ibrahimovic does maintain a highly respectable and loving relation with Jose, moving back to Milan might not be a move that can be easily ruled out.

Whatever happens next, there is no denying that Zlatan is still one of the best in the game, and wherever he goes, he will be making the team better.
