Negotiation Storm At Man United As Three Star Players Consider Leaving

While it is easy to see transfer deals as permanent acquisitions due to their technical title, they are anything but. Once a player’s tenure approaches its end, negotiations take charge, and often, it is harder to convince a talent to stay than it was to sign them.
As of such, the modern game makes it even harder for suitable players to pen their years to one club alone, particularly if their services may be better suited elsewhere, with respect to game-time.
Now, Manchester United may be on the receiving end of one such conundrum, and they share a common source of woe: Spain.
As per numerous reports, including the Daily Mail, Spaniards David De Gea, Juan Mata, and Ander Herrera are all contemplating leaving Manchester United at the end of this season.

The Spanish trio is an iconic presence at Old Trafford, and Herrera and De Gea share between them the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year title as well, a rare feat in the last few seasons.
Mata, for his part, has been an instrumental presence in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era at the Theatre of Dreams, and was the engineer of their recent 3-2 comeback against Newcastle United.

While De Gea, whose worry is that United aren’t challenging for big titles, is being targeted by the likes of PSG, Mata and Herrera have different woes. The former has attracted interest from Spain, and returning home seems attractive for the midfielder, particularly given his skill-set.
In the case of Herrera, a new contract has been provided by the Red Devils, but the source states that the pay highlighted in the new deal is significantly lower than what the player expected, and as of such, he too may be seeking a new destination.
