Luke Shaw Pens Down New Long-Term Contract With Manchester United
Prior to what could be a very interesting and active January transfer window for Manchester United, the club has begun handing out new contracts to its existing players, so as to secure their futures before bringing in the reinforcements.
The likes of Anthony Martial, Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, and David De Gea are all rumoured to be negotiating for their respective deals with the Old Trafford outfit.
But one talented individual has already penned down a new contract with the Mancunian giants. Luke Shaw has successfully committed his long-term future to Manchester United.
The young defender’s previous contract was set to expire come summer, which would have made him a highly sought-after free agent in the transfer market.

However, this latest development suggests that Shaw has signed a new 5-year deal with the Red Devils, which shall now earn him improved wages worth a reported £150,000 per week.
The 23-year-old has had his fair share of struggles since arriving at the Theatre of Dreams, be it with freak injuries, or against current manager Jose Mourinho.
But the left-back has fought his way out through it all, and has shined brightly since the start of the season, effectively earning international call-ups and becoming one of the guaranteed names on the United team sheet in the process.
