Manchester United’s Star Forward To Miss Tuesday’s Juventus Clash
Alexis Sanchez will miss Manchester United’s Champions League clash against Juventus on Tuesday.
The Chile international, who has been rumoured to be unhappy in Manchester lately, has only been a shadow of his former self since his arrival at Old Trafford in January 2018.
He did seem to be on the verge of making a comeback, when he clinched the late winner in the Red Devils’ 3-2 win over Newcastle United prior to the international break.
However, the 29-year-old was dropped by Jose Mourinho for Manchester United‘s subsequent fixture against Chelsea last weekend, wherein Anthony Martial starred on the left wing.

Now, the former Arsenal star appears to have suffered yet another blow, as he is all set to miss the Mancunian giants’ most important encounter of the season so far.
As many as six players were absent from Manchester United‘s training session on Monday morning, with Marouane Fellaini, Phil Jones, Scott McTominay, Jesse Lingard, and Diogo Dalot not taking part, along with Alexis Sanchez.

Mourinho later confirmed that the Chilean won’t be available for selection for their upcoming Group G game against Juventus, as he admitted: “The players you saw are the ones who are available. Nothing to hide. Alexis is out.”
The reason behind the forward’s absence is yet to be revealed. Nonetheless, in-form youngster Anthony Martial is expected to fill in for Sanchez against the Italian giants, and the Frenchman shall attempt to usurp and make the left wing position his own.
