Ronaldo’s SHOCKING Response After Juventus’ Defeat To Man United
Juventus tasted defeat for the first time this season on Wednesday, when Manchester United were able to hold them 2-1 in their Champions League clash at Turin.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s initial goal, which was in itself a piece of wonder, looked set to gift the Old Lady yet another decisive victory and lead them to the assured top of the table.
However, tactical swiftness on the part of Jose Mourinho and the late substitutions of Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini ensured that two late goals from decisive set-pieces gave the Red Devils a well-deserved victory. However, Ronaldo begged to differ.
After the full-time whistle, Ronaldo spoke to Sky Sports Italia and was clearly perturbed by what had occurred: “The Champions League is a special competition, where you could be winning, but can’t relax, as anything can happen.

“We dominated the game for 90 minutes, had so many chances, could’ve killed it off three or four times, but we relaxed and were punished.”
But what he went on to say next will ruffle quite a few feathers amongst supporters of his former club: “Manchester United did nothing to win the game.
“You can’t even talk about luck, because you have to find your own luck and in this case we just gifted it to them. Now we’ve got to lift our heads, as we played really well and are still top of the group.”

Of course, those that spectated the game eagerly will comment how United took great control of the fixture in the dying minutes of the match, and took brilliant advantage of the fact that Juventus were slacking off a bit.
The emotion was shared by the Italian camp, with captain Giorgio Chiellini also commenting: “We must learn from this sort of mistake.
“We’ve been threatening this sort of mess for a few games, to be honest, as we get too complacent and run risks that are totally unnecessary. Maybe now we’ll get our heads down and focus the way we need to in every single match, taking nothing for granted.”
