REVEALED: The Manchester United Player Who Will ‘Run Through Walls’ For Mourinho

It is no secret that Jose Mourinho is a crucial cog in the success of most players that he manages. This is why the Portuguese gaffer often indulges in scalding public scolding of his players when they underperform or make massive errors.

Such a policy is why, despite claims of bad rapport plaguing him as of recent, Mourinho maintains a worthwhile list of world-class talents that think highly of him.

Similarly, there are individuals that Mourinho thinks highly of, and the resultant relationship often leads players into doing incredulous things for the gaffer. One such talent did a very hard task on Sunday against Manchester City.

Multiple reports have claimed that Marouane Fellaini was, in fact, carrying an injury, and wasn’t fit enough to start against City, let alone play the entire 90 minutes. However, his presence was necessitated by the late injury to Pogba, and so, the Belgian played at the Etihad.

However, when Belgium announced their international squad for the break, Fellaini wasn’t included in it due to not having fully recovered from said injury.

This could also be due to Mourinho’s reaction the last time around, when Fellaini got injured during international duty, as the Red Devils’ boss was reportedly furious with Belgium for having downplayed the midfielder’s injury.

Now, HLN (via Sports Witness) have claimed that Fellaini played through considerable pain on Sunday, as he is willing to ‘run through walls’ for Mourinho.

The report confirmed that Roberto Martinez had not included Fellaini for their international outings due to pressure from United, who didn’t want a repeat of the injury fiascos that had affected the player last time. This goes on to highlight how valued the relationship shared between the duo is.

However, it is also important to note that Fellaini functioned on Sunday against medical advice, and such a choice may be a point of woe in the coming weeks.
