Injury Update: When Victor Lindelof Will Return Following Thigh Problem
Manchester United and Jose Mourinho just simply cannot seem to catch a break this season. What seems like one step forward with the team this campaign, is followed by two massive steps back.
After a win against Juventus in Italy in the Champions League two weeks ago, the United faithful had their hopes high, of witnessing a turnaround in fortunes that’s been long time coming.
However, a comprehensive defeat at the hands of rivals Manchester City was a quick reality check for Mourinho and his men. Things then got worse with their goalless draw against Crystal Palace this weekend, a result that witnessed a loud ring of boos at Old Trafford after the full-time whistle.
The biggest blow comes not with these results, but with the injury to Victor Lindelof, the player who has been United’s best performer in the past few weeks.

Just when the Swedish international was hitting the right form being a Red Devil, an untimely thigh problem against Palace brought his rise to a sudden pause.
The manager then confirmed the defender’s condition, by stating: “Victor [has] a proper injury that will keep him out for a while. [Phil] Jones, [Chris] Smalling and [Eric] Bailly are the three [defenders] we have. He has a muscular problem and muscular problem takes time.”
The squad is a little depleted ahead of their Champions League fixture against Young Boys, a game that has almost certainly become a must-win one.
All three points will ensure United progress through to the last 16, the least they can do to ensure the fans still watch their games with hope and optimism for the better.
