It’s barely been a week since the sacking of Jose Mourinho, but the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the temporary manager till the end of the season has brought with it a happy mood around Old Trafford.
The baby faced assassin is all set to manage his first Premier League game as the boss of the club he became a legend at, and it’s going to be against the side that had him fired from his previous coaching role in England’s top flight.
As the excitement for Manchester United‘s clash against Cardiff tonight grows, there are rumours of the team news being leaked that are doing the rounds all over the internet.
The biggest information coming out of Manchester Evening News‘ report is that Angel Gomes and James Garner are in the squad for United’s upcoming away fixture.

Youth development was one of Mourinho’s biggest flaws, and Solskjaer, who was the United Reserves coach between 2008 and 2010, has been pro-youth the entire time.
However,the Portuguese was the one who gave Gomes his Red Devils’ debut at the age of 16, and the player thanked him in a twitter post recently, which read: “You allowed me to make my debut at 16 and play in front of the Stretford End something I will never forget ever. Thank you boss.”

Gomes, 18, and Garner, 17, are certainly part of the club’s future plans, and Ole could be the mastermind that kicks their United careers off.
While speaking about the same, Ole said: “That’s our identity, I was in the reserves as well, so I’ve been on that side of it, the link between the academy and the first-team.
“I know how important it is that me, Nicky, Ricky and Neil speak a lot because that is in our tradition, it doesn’t just go back to the Class of ’92, it goes back even further than Sir Alex, back to Sir Matt Busby. And I’ll never forget it, if you’re good enough you’re old enough.”
