REVEALED: Solskjaer’s Brilliant Message To His Staff After Win vs Huddersfield
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be a happy man after the manner in which his Manchester United side beat Huddersfield Town 3-1 on Boxing Day at Old Trafford.
After a confident start to life with a 5-1 thrashing of Cardiff last week, this result will be a much-needed one to carry his months as caretaker manager forward in a splendid manner.
Paul Pogba scored twice on the night, with Nemanja Matic being the surprise scorer of United’s opening goal. The festive results have worked well with the roster, which seems to have benefitted immensely from the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
Now, Solskjaer is eager to carry this good mood forward, as per his latest message to his staff.

The Norwegian reportedly revealed the following after the Huddersfield victory: “I said to the staff towards the end, next week we will have Sanchez, Martial, and Lukaku, then we will really finish them off.”
Words of confidence from a man who has made it abundantly clear that United will play an attacking brand of football under him.

At the same time, supporters will also be a tad bit worried to see Lukaku and Sanchez back on the pitch. The duo was arguably the side’s worst pair going forward in recent games, with Sanchez, in particular, being guilty of some dreadfully uninspiring football prior to his injury.
Then there’s the matter of Lukaku’s general playing style, which doesn’t sit well with the kind of pacey and dynamic strikers that tend to succeed in the Norwegian’s setup.
Regardless, the expensive duo is bound to be given chances, and if the Pogba effect can be carried over to them, then opposition teams may be in for an incredible forward line from the Red Devils. Further, given results elsewhere, the top four may be an achievable feat yet again.
