Sir Alex Attends Manchester United Training Session Ahead Of The Tottenham Game
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has time and again admitted that his entire footballing philosophy is based on everything he learned from Sir Alex Ferguson during their time together at Manchester United.
From reintroducing Sir Alex’s quiz nights to handing out his own version of the hairdryer treatment, the Norwegian hasn’t shied away from borrowing his legendary boss’ methods since taking over the Old Trafford hot-seat.
However, ahead of Sunday’s Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur, which will be Ole’s toughest test so far, the interim manager seems to have asked for some direct help from the Scot.
Before the Red Devils’ trip to London for the encounter at Wembley, Solskjaer conducted one final training session at the AON Training Complex on Saturday afternoon.

But to everyone’s surprise, an unlikely figure unexpectedly attended this session, in the form of Sir Alex Ferguson himself.
Solskjaer reportedly asked the 77-year-old to give some words of inspiration to the Manchester United players, who will be taking on an in-from third-placed Tottenham side in a charged match-up.

Ole has already admitted that he intends to field an attacking lineup at Wembley, having stated: “We’re not going to go gung-ho and be naive but Manchester United is about attacking football.
“We’ve got to go there and attack the game, we have to win to stand a chance of passing them in the league. We go there to take three points. Walking out at Wembley with a Manchester United shirt on, that brings the best out in quite a few players. Hopefully we can see that.”
And perhaps some motivation from Sir Alex could just be the extra boost the Reds need to successfully beat Mauricio Pochettino and co in the all-important fixture.
