Several European clubs are said to be monitoring Juan Mata’s situation at Manchester United, reports the Mirror.

The 30-year-old is in the final year of his current deal at the Old Trafford outfit, which leaves him free to discuss terms and sign a pre-contract with interested parties in the ongoing January transfer window.

The decorated playmaker has reportedly caught the attention of several juggernauts from all across the continent, with the likes of Arsenal, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, and Barcelona said to be keeping an eye on the developments closely.

Arsenal, in particular, are very eager to jump at the chance of landing the Spaniard for free, considering the lack of transfer funds at the North London outfit.
