Star Forward In ‘Total Agreement’ With Manchester United Over New Deal
Reports emerging from France during the previous week had indicated that Anthony Martial was on the verge of extending his stay at Manchester United.
The news was broken out by RMC Sport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi, who has been heavily reliable with respect to updates regarding Martial. In fact, he was one of the first people to report on the youngster’s move from AS Monaco to Old Trafford.
In his last week’s report, Bouhafsi had claimed that Martial’s agent, Philippe Lamboley, was in the final stages of discussing a new contract with the Mancunian giants.
It was further claimed that only ‘some details’ were left to be agreed, and an official announcement was said to be a matter of one week’s time.

Now, a week after that initial report, Bouhafsi has come up with a new update regarding the negotiations.
He has revealed that Martial’s representatives and Manchester United are now in ‘total agreement’ to extend the 23-year-old’s stay at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Frenchman is all set to sign a new five-year deal with the 20-time English champions, which will keep him at the club until 2024.
The new report also reveals that the deal will be signed before Friday, and therefore, an official announcement could be made this week itself.
