This will be a statement of intent from Manchester United, as they want to keep hold of their core players in order to challenge for silverware in the upcoming season.
Recently, Martial penned a new five-year deal, thought to be in the region of £200,000 a week. United are also in discussions with senior players David de Gea, Ander Herrera and Juan Mata. It is expected that all three will be signing extensions at the Premier League club.
Rashford has quickly grown to become one of the most important players in the squad. In 155 matches for United, the 21-year-old has amassed 42 goals.
The Englishman has already hit double figures this season. Moreover, the forward has also made the central striker’s role his own under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in recent times, which has worked wonders for his confidence.
