How Solskjaer Blasted Two Man United Stars For Arriving Late To A Meeting

Since taking over as the interim boss back in December, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has certainly looked capable of bagging the permanent managerial role at Manchester United.

With the way he has managed the team so far, both on and off the pitch, the Norwegian also looks the likeliest candidate to successfully carry forward Sir Alex Ferguson’s legacy at the Theatre of Dreams.

The manner in which he has handled the players has brought the dressing room together again, and the issues caused by Jose Mourinho are nowhere in sight anymore.

However, while Solskjaer may look like a kind baby-faced gaffer who uses a personal touch while dealing with his players, he certainly hasn’t shied away from dropping down the hammer if and when need be.

Ole has previously taken a page out of Sir Alex’s book by giving the team his own version of the ‘hairdryer treatment’, so as to motivate the Red Devils to get the desired results.

Now, according to a new report from The Times, it seems that Solskjaer has been at it from the very beginning of his interim spell.

Shortly after having replaced Mourinho, the 45-year-old showed his tougher side to two unnamed Manchester United stars, by blasting them for turning up late to a meeting.

Solskjaer did not hold back one bit, and handed the duo a dressing down in front of the entire squad. And it appears to have been quite effective, as the report adds that no player has arrived late for training since.
