Solskjaer Sets Unbelievable Club Record After United’s Win Against Palace

Manchester United got past Crystal Palace 3-1 in the Premier League.

United, who are facing an injury crisis, overcame the difficulties to keep in sync with the momentum under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

This was United’s eighth consecutive win away from home across all competitions. Ole has scripted this historic record, something that none of his predecessors including Sir Alex Ferguson managed.

Ole’s first away win as manager came against Cardiff City on December 22 in his first game in charge. Since then the Red Devils have won away at Newcastle, Spurs, Arsenal, Leicester, Fulham, Chelsea and now Palace.

Fergie had only managed to win seven matches in a row. The first was between April and August across two seasons in 1993. He then equalled the record almost a decade later, winning seven in a row between March and April 2002. Ole has now done something special.

The Mancunian club was missing eight first-team players at Selhurst Park, but the players found the way to breach palace territory.

Belgium striker Lukaku netted in each half to hand his side a special win. He curled a well-placed shot into the corner and then scooped a shot over goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.

Lukaku now has 10 EPL goals this season. United face a home test against Southampton next.
