Lukaku And Pogba Hilariously Trolled ‘English Newspaper’ After PSG Win
Manchester United secured an impressive 3-2 win over Southampton last weekend, with a long-range shot from Andreas Pereira and a stunning brace from Romelu Lukaku earning the Red Devils all three points.
The home side could have scored four goals on the night, but Paul Pogba ended up missing a penalty in injury time to further improve his side’s overall goal difference.
The Frenchman’s decision to take the spot-kick, and eventually miss it, did not go down too well with Lukaku, as per the claim made by The Sun.
Their report suggested that the two Mancunian stars got into a heated row after the midfielder denied the Belgian international his hattrick on the night.
The English outlet quoted an Old Trafford source as saying: “It was quite a stern conversation and Romelu was clearly not happy about what Pogba had done.
“He was quick to remind Paul how much he had helped him when he fell out with Mourinho. It needed Ole to calm the situation down.”
Now, both Lukaku and Pogba have responded to these claims, rubbishing these reports straightaway. The star striker took to social media to have his say, posting: “When the hate don’t work they start telling lies…”

Pogba added to his fellow teammate’s comment, as he joked: “Hahahahaha people are too funny bro”.

These responses prove that all is fine between the two Manchester United stars, who hit back expertly to keep the media from sensationalizing juicy rumours.
Moreover, the duo’s celebration following their sensational 3-1 win over PSG, wherein they publicly mocked the fake story writing, only went on to prove just how ridiculous these rumours were in the first place. Watch their antics here:
