Manchester United were solid in the second-leg against PSG, winning in historic fashion after going down 2-0 at Old Trafford.

The quarter finals await the Red Devils, while PSG are left miserable in the face of yet another disappointing season in Europe.

One man who will be peeved even more by this defeat is Angel Di Maria.

The former Manchester United forward must have been thoroughly convinced that his side has bagged the tie when he aided both the goals that they netted in Manchester three weeks ago.

However, at the end of the game, his expression was a sight to behold. Twitter didn’t miss this and thoroughly roasted him, the jokes and memes flowing in abundance.

It will sting even more for the Argentine forward as the majority of the tweets were in reference to his overconfident, pompous and disrespectful celebrations at Old Trafford.

This loss will certainly be a lesson in humility for the likes of Di Maria and Neymar, whose displeasure is pretty obvious at this point.

On a more worrying note, PSG’s ability to attract big names may be at stake now.

Regardless of the money they are able to shell out, most top talents may not be interested in playing in an inferior and unchallenging domestic league only to fall out like this in the Champions League.
