Manchester United have seen an incredible transformation since the departure of Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese boss lost the confidence of the players in the dressing room, and the performances on the pitch were far from sublime.

Against the odds, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has managed to pump in new energy into the squad, and is on the verge of securing a permanent role at Old Trafford for next season.

The Red Devils had an amazing night at Parc des Princes, as they knocked out Paris Saint-Germain from the Champions League to secure a spot in the quarterfinals.

When the draw was announced, Jose Mourinho was still in charge of Manchester United, and no one gave them a chance to beat the Parisian side. But they did manage to make it through, which has even got the Portuguese tactician talking.

On the first episode of his new football show, On the Touch Line with Jose Mourinho, he revealed that the result was a phenomenal one for Manchester United. He also talked about the shock defeat that Los Blancos suffered at the hands of Ajax a day earlier.

“[Ajax] were not afraid to play at the Bernabeu, the young guys, they showed great attitude, they put the needle in the wound,” Mourinho said. “Ajax and Manchester United results are phenomenal results.”

Jose Mourinho has been making sneaky comments about his time at Old Trafford for the past couple of weeks. Therefore, it is very likely that the Paris Saint-Germain result came as a huge shock and could silence him for some time.

In the episode, Jose revealed that he is looking to enter the dugout soon, and expects to be working this summer. According to reports, both Real Madrid and PSG are interested in signing Mourinho after their shock exits from the Champions League.
