Football clubs aren’t perfect, and Manchester United certainly aren’t one of them. However, when errors are made once on the transfer end, it is understandable. If those errors are repeated time and time again, it certainly borders on frustration, as followers are able to predict the trajectory a signing will take.
Such has been the case with nearly every player that the Old Trafford giants have tried to sign in order to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, Alexis Sanchez certainly takes the cheese for an awful performance, with the Chilean having scored only 5 times since making the move from Arsenal.
Each sordid weekly showing of his has added to the frustration of the club, as his basic wages are around £400,000-a-week, and an added £75,000 being paid out on each appearance.

As per the Sunday Times, Ed Woodward may have taken cognizance of this disaster, as he admits that signing Sanchez was a failure on his part.
It does appear that the club leaped at the chance of attaining the former Barcelona forward as a lucrative move for their advertising and shirt-sales, not so much regarding on the pitch impact.
Apart from the player being unable to perform worth his salary, which has occurred in the past with the likes of Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria, Sanchez’s salary causes more woes than one.
