Man United Considering To Sign €120m-Rated Goalkeeper To Replace De Gea
Manchester United are considering to replace David de Gea with Jan Oblak.
According to ESPN, the Premier League giants are seriously considering triggering €120 million buyout clause of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak this summer.
Oblak, who joined Atletico in 2014, signed a new contract in April, however, his release clause was only increased by €20m, a sum which United are said to see as affordable.
David de Gea has been enduring an abysmal run of games of late, and has made huge errors against the likes of Barcelona, Everton and Chelsea.

Apart from his form, the Red Devils are also increasingly uncertain on his future, with the Spain international’s contract expiring in the summer of 2020.
However, in his post-match press conference after 1-1 draw against Chelsea, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was fully supportive of his goalkeeper.

The Man Utd boss said: “He’s been in the spotlight for the right reasons for so long, now he’s going through a period where he probably feels he could have done better. I don’t have any worries about him because he’s a strong character.
“Of course I’ll sit down and speak to David as I’ve done when he’s played well. But he’s not the reason why we’re in the sixth position at the moment.
“You cannot say there is any complacency, David is not the type to sit down and be complacent. He is a competitor and he wants to be the best.
“David knows he could have done better with the goal, there’s no reason to hide that, but there’s no chance any of us will point fingers because he’s saved us so many times.”
