Manchester United are in talks to sign Ruben Dias from Benfica.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have won just two of their last ten games in all competitions, and are struggling in almost every department.

However, the biggest concern is their defence, which has managed just two clean sheets at home this season, the least in the whole division.

The likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Raphael Varane, and Harry Maguire, have been linked with the English side, and now Ruben Dias has joined the list.

The 21-year-old has shone this season, and has been vital in helping Benfica to reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League and to the top of Portuguese Primeira Liga table.

According to newspaper Record (via Sport Witness), Juventus are in pole position to sign Dias, who has a €60m release clause.

However, the Old Lady will now face competition from Manchester United, who have also opened negotiations with Benfica.

The Red Devils have done business with the Portuguese side recently, signing centre-back Victor Lindelof in 2017.
