REVEALED: The Player Solskjaer Wants To Build His New-Look Man United Team Around
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is planning on building his new-look Manchester United team around Scott McTominay.
The young midfielder has been heavily impressive of late, with his stellar performance against Barcelona at Old Trafford especially standing out.
McTominay was also responsible for scoring the sole goal during the Reds’ 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town in the Premier League last weekend. His display was full of drive and commitment as well, which the rest of his teammates failed to replicate.
The performances and the attitude showcased by the player has led Solskjaer to make a major decision regarding the 22-year-old.
According to the Mirror, the Norwegian tactician has decided to build his new-look team around Scott McTominay next season.

With Ander Herrera all set to move to PSG and Paul Pogba also expected to join Real Madrid, McTominay would become an automatic starter for the Red Devils next season, alongside a brand new midfield signing.
Solskjaer, who has already likened Scott with former Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher, has been left impressed with the academy graduate’s passing range, attitude, commitment, and overall reading of the game.
McTominay has been contributing directly with goals as well, having astonishingly scored more goals than Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, and Alexis Sanchez combined in United’s last eight games.
The Scotland international was recently rewarded with a brand new deal which lasts until 2023, and if he continues his steady development, he could very well become a key figure for the club in the years to come.
