Real Madrid are considering letting Gareth Bale leave on a free transfer.

The Welshman’s time at the Spanish capital club appears to be up, especially after the difficult season the Galacticos endured this term.

Bale continues to remain unappreciated at the Bernabeu, with some of Los Blancos’ supporters even targeting him with boos and jeers on multiple occasions.

Further, the wide-man has fallen further down the pecking order, and chances have effectively stopped coming his way since the return of Zinedine Zidane at Real’s managerial helm.

With the season over, Real Madrid are now planning on offloading Bale on a permanent basis, and that too on a free transfer, report The Times.

The 29-year-old commands a £13 million-a-year salary at the moment, which is why the Spanish giants are quite eager to part ways with the forward and get him off their wage bill.
