Three Former Manchester United Players To Become Part Transfer Committee

Manchester United are planning on forming a three-man transfer committee.
The Red Devils’ current squad is made up of players that have been assembled by three different managers. Moreover, the club continues to face issues with respect to offloading a few unwanted players, due to a sheer lack of interested suitors.
To ensure these problems don’t persist and repeat, the Old Trafford club is planning on forming a new transfer committee, according to The Sun. This committee will be made to help the sporting director identify new transfer targets.
Former midfielder Darren Fletcher is expected to lead this committee, alongside his ex-United teammate Rio Ferdinand.

Further, the club’s academy chief, Nicky Butt, will also have a huge say in which young talents are recruited by the Mancunian giants.
This three-man team will be similar to the already-existent setup at Liverpool, where manager Jurgen Klopp has been successfully working with sporting director Michael Edwards, goalkeeping coach John Achterberg, and head of scouting and recruitment, Dave Fallows.

Meanwhile, Manchester United also seem to have altered their recruitment policy, and they will now focus on signing hard-working and hungry youngsters instead of established superstars.
Solskjaer himself recently described the type of players he desires, having stated: “You have to have a certain kind of attitude about you to make you a Manchester United player. Our fans want to see exciting players, it’s always been in our culture. You have to have that work ethic.”
