Three European Juggernauts Submit €120m Bids For Joao Felix
Three European powerhouses have made €120m bids for Joao Felix.
The Benfica starlet is on the radar of multiple juggernauts from all across the continent, with a summer departure from the Portuguese outfit looking certain.
Reports coming in earlier this week indicated that Manchester City had submitted a €120 million bid for the teenager, with an aim to trigger his huge release clause.
Now, Correio da Manhã have provided another update regarding this story, suggesting that Manchester United and Real Madrid have offered the same amount as the English champions.

However, the source indicates that Pep Guardiola’s side continues to lead this transfer race, because the Cityzens have agreed to pay the forward’s agent, Jorge Mendes, a good commission.
But while City are offering the 19-year-old €4.5m net per season in wages, United and Real are prepared to offer €5m, and this could turn the tide in their favour.

Another Portuguese outlet, Record, has echoed these updates, claiming that the Sky Blues have tabled a €120m bid, but are yet to trigger Felix’s release clause, as they wait to see if there are any issues with the Financial Fair Play.
They also added that while City remain in pole position, Manchester United and Atletico Madrid – not Real – have establish contact with Mendes over his in-demand client.
Meanwhile, Benfica president Luís Filipe Vieira has supposedly made a counter offer to all the interested parties, as he wishes to hold onto the forward for one more season.
