Paul Pogba has agreed to make a sensational return to Juventus.

The 2018 World Cup winner looked certain to part ways with Manchester United midway through the recently-concluded campaign, after having fallen out with the then manager, Jose Mourinho.

However, the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in mid-December saw a drastic change in Pogba’s performances, although his side failed to end the season on a high note nonetheless.

In recent weeks, speculation linking the star midfielder with an Old Trafford exit has been rife, with multiple sources claiming the 26-year-old is all set to join Real Madrid.

But now, reports coming in from Italy suggest the France international might be on the verge of sealing a sensational return to his former club Juventus instead.

According to Monday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Pogba has already said “yes” to a summer transfer to the Old Lady outfit.

The source suggests that Juve’s sporting director, Fabio Paratici, was in attendance during France’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of Turkey, following which he held a meeting with Pogba.

In that meeting, the Frenchman supposedly agreed to join Juventus this summer. However, it remains to be seen whether Manchester United readily let their talisman head back to Turin.

One stumbling block could be Juve’s inability to offer straight-up cash, which will force them to rely on a player-plus-cash offer. A prospective exchange might result in the Bianconeri offering the likes of Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa, or Joao Cancelo in exchange for Pogba.
