Manchester United have reached an agreement for the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is on the verge of becoming Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s second signing at the club.

The English right-back follows the footsteps of Daniel James, who completed his £15m switch from Swansea City earlier this month.

The Red Devils have successfully recruited two top young talents so far this summer, but their squad is still far from ready to compete for major titles – both domestic and continental.

However, it appears Solskjaer thinks the same, as reports suggest he has no intention of concluding his business just yet.

According to the Evening Standard, the Norwegian tactician intends to bring in three more players after having sealed the deal for Wan-Bissaka.

The first of the three targets is Leicester City’s £75m-rated centre-back Harry Maguire, who currently seems to be leaning towards a switch to English champions Manchester City instead.

Another starlet on their wish-list is Newcastle United’s 21-year-old midfielder Sean Longstaff, who perfectly fits Solskjaer’s brand new criteria of recruiting developing homegrown talent.

Finally, the Mancunians also intend to bring in star playmaker Bruno Fernandes, who has impressed heavily with Sporting Lisbon as well as the Portuguese national team in the past twelve months.

Signing these players will certainly strengthen the current Manchester United squad, but it remains to be seen whether club chief Ed Woodward succeeds in recruiting this trio before the window shuts close in August.
