Manchester United Willing To Sell Their Superstar For €83 Million
Manchester United have rejected Inter’s opening bid for Romelu Lukaku.
On Thursday, Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio traveled to London to open talks over the potential signing of the Belgian international.
The star striker has been identified as the top attacking target by new Nerazzurri boss Antonio Conte, who had previously targeted Lukaku at Chelsea as well.
Further, the player himself is eager to make the switch to Italy, after having fallen down the pecking order at the Old Trafford club.

According to the Guardian, Inter submitted an opening bid worth €70m for the 26-year-old, but it was turned down straightaway.
Manchester United value their number 9 at €83.5m, which means both clubs are still €13.5m apart in their valuation of the striker.

The initial offer was made up of a €10m payment upfront for the loan this summer, along with further instalments of €30m in 2020 and €30m in 2021.
Despite the bid getting rejected, however, Inter remain interested in Lukaku, and the submission of an improved follow-up bid seems to be a matter of when, not if.
