Man United Want To Complete Defender Transfer Before Signing Bruno Fernandes
Manchester United want to complete one signing before beginning their pursuit of Bruno Fernandes.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the Sporting Lisbon playmaker for quite some time now, but are yet to officially submit a bid for his services.
Now, Portuguese newspaper A Bola (via Sport Witness) has revealed that the Mancunian giants want to bring in a centre-back before signing the Portuguese international.
While a host of central defenders have been linked with a switch to Old Trafford, Leicester City star Harry Maguire is believed to be their topmost target.

Manchester United had previously tabled a bid for the Englishman, but the Foxes turned it down, as they await a transfer record-breaking sum for their prized asset.
The Reds are expected to remain in the hunt to strengthen their back-line, and finalise the signing of Maguire or a similar player before getting on with recruiting midfield reinforcements.

The source further adds that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer intends to sign not one but two midfielders, Fernandes being the priority.
Newcastle starlet Sean Longstaff and Lazio sensation Sergej Milinkovic-Savic are rumoured to be the other players on the Reds’ wishlist, but on the other hand, speculation continues to link Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic with summer exits.
