Manchester United were able to taste sweet victory against Inter Milan in Singapore in their first game in the International Champions Cup. Back from a two-game strong win-streak in Australia, the Red Devils carried on their brilliance with a 1-0 result.

Despite showing a keen attacking edge for both halves of the game, a goal didn’t grace the Premier League giants until a free-kick in the 72nd minute fell to the crafty feet of Mason Greenwood.

The 17-year-old, who had opened the scoring against Leeds United in Perth, was brought on as a substitute and one wouldn’t have predicted that he’d score from the tight angle.

What made the effort incredibly breathtaking was the angle the shot took, going right past the backline of the Italian giants and has been likened to a past effort from Robin Van Persie.

However, that antic wasn’t the only impressive one from the starlet during the fixture.

A particular clip has gone viral showing Greenwood perform a roulette on Milan Skriniar towards the dying minutes of the game. In particular, the manner in which the teenager schooled Skriniar has left many fans absolutely delighted.

The expression on the centre-back’s face after Greenwood whizzes past him is certainly one for the ages.

The defender is widely regarded as one of the best ones in Europe and was even on United’s transfer radar in their hunt for an apt centre-back.

Despite that, the fact that he was outclassed so embarrassingly by a teenager from United’s famed youth academy has gone down well amongst supporters of the Mancunian giants.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear that Mason Greenwood has a strong chance of starting against Chelsea during United’s Premier League opener in August.

Even if Romelu Lukaku does depart this summer, the Norwegian may not have to break his head over acquiring a replacement striker when the young Greenwood is embarrassing the elite defenders of Italy in this manner.
