Manchester United Amongst The Three Clubs To Reach Agreement Over Nicolas Pepe Transfer
Three European giants have reached an agreement with Lille over the transfer of Nicolas Pepe.
Through his goals and assists, the 24-year-old played a huge role in helping Lille secure Champions League football last season. Subsequently, those very performances have made Pepe the most in-demand winger in the current market.
A plethora of European juggernauts have expressed their interest in signing the player, and now, as per reports in France, three clubs have simultaneously taken the lead in this transfer race.
According to La Voix du Nord via GFFN, Inter Milan, Manchester United, and Napoli have all reached an agreement with Lille over the €80m-rated star’s transfer.

A few rogue reports previously indicated that his switch to Old Trafford was a done deal, until the France international’s agent, Samir Khiat, took to social media to deny those claims.
Napoli appear to be Pepe’s most likely destination at present, with Carlo Ancelotti himself admitting meeting with the forward’s representatives.

“I’ve met with Pepe’s agents,” confirmed Ancelotti (via Mirror). “They were at our hotel. It is normal that we would meet to discuss eventual negotiations. It is pointless to hide it with his agents here: we are interested in Pepe.”
Meanwhile, the likes of Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool continue to be linked with the wide-man as well, and only time will tell which club eventually emerges victorious from this chaotic transfer saga.
