Bruno Fernandes Set To Have His Manchester United Medical
Bruno Fernandes is set to have his medical at Manchester United.
The Sporting Lisbon star has been heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford all summer, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer yearns for a creative addition to his unit.
Reports have gone back and forth regarding the possibility of this transfer, but now, sources in Italy suggest a deal is on the horizon.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United have agreed a £63 million fee with Sporting Lisbon for the Portuguese international’s services.

Further, Fernandes is now preparing to fly to the UK, so as to complete his medical at the AON Training Complex.
The report adds that the 24-year-old’s arrival will have no significant effect on United’s pursuit of Sergej Milinkovic Savic. In fact, the Lazio midfielder will only be brought in if Paul Pogba departs for Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Sporting gaffer Marcel Keizer has hinted at Fernandes’ potential departure, after having admitted (via A Bola): “For me they can close the window. It would be enough for me. At all times, before starting, one expects exits and entrances.
“We want to keep the best, but we’re in the market. Soon we have to wait. We are not in the position where we can keep everyone. It depends, of course, on what enters later if Bruno leaves. Quality players like that we can’t replace.”
