Solskjaer’s Reaction To Seeing His Son Make Professional Debut vs United

In the midst of the transfer madness surrounding Manchester United, their pre-season performances tend to go in and out of focus.

So far, the Red Devils have been outstanding in their tours, where the goals are plenty, the fresh tactics are impressive and the new talents are breathtaking.

A lot of promise and hype is being raised for the upcoming season as a result of this.

However, during their most recent win against Kristiansund BK, a touching moment was to be seen at the sidelines.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s son, Noah, made his professional debut against Manchester United and the gaffer was a proud father. As the 19-year-old was subbed on in the 85^th minute, Solskjaer walked up to him and patted him, a proud gesture that warmed the hearts of many.

The younger Solsjkaer didn’t have much time to make an impact on the game and could do little to stop Juan Mata’s penalty in the 90^th minute which proved to be the winner.

Speaking after the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer commented on the incident, saying: “Of course Noah makes his debut for them in front of 28,000, it’s not very often a Norwegian does. And Elia next to me enjoyed it and that’s what it’s about when you come back here.”

Noah himself revealed an interesting tidbit, stating: “I have a small role model in Michael Carrick. In the beginning, I started upfront, but the longer it has gone on I have gone further back in the side. I’m now more of a number six in midfield than a number 10. It would be nice to get in the game. After seeing such big games, I’ve got used to it.”

Manchester United supporters will certainly be hoping for the best for the father-son duo as both are entering vital stages of their respective careers.
