Old Trafford will witness their side for the second time this campaign and will be eagerly hoping for more of the heroics that powered Manchester United’s 4-0 win against Chelsea.

Crystal Palace made life hard for United last campaign and will be hoping to capitalize on the morale vacuum that has been created due to the draw to Wolves last week.

Let us have a look at how the two teams could lineup on Saturday.

Manchester United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had to report an injury to Diogo Dalot. Fortunately, the Portuguese starlet is the only new absentee in addition to Eric Bailly and Tim Fosu-Mensah. It is likely that the Norwegian gaffer will field the same lineup as last week.

However, the performance of Jesse Lingard did leave a lot of questions in the air for the Red Devils, but the issue remains that Solskjaer doesn’t have an apt replacement for the Englishman either.

Similarly, if a penalty comes up against Palace, it will be interesting to see who will take it. Solskjaer specified that Pogba and Rashford are still the designated penalty-takers but one would assume that the youngster would have the edge over the Frenchman on Saturday.

Crystal Palace

Roy Hodgson will be without James Tomkins and Mamadou Sakho for the encounter. Palace are yet to win a game this season and were able to get a point on opening day against Everton by virtue of the game being a goalless draw.

Akin to the Wolves, the Eagles will be eager to frustrate United defensively and cut short their offensive ploys. Gary Cahill is likely to make his debut at Old Trafford and former Red Devil Wilfried Zaha will be the probable source of danger for the away side.

The encounter will also be the first one for Aaron Wan-Bissaka against his former club.

Goalkeeper: Guaita

Defenders: Ward, Kelly, Dann, van Aanholt

Midfielders: Townsend, McArthur, Milivojevic, Meyer

Forwards: Benteke, Zaha
