What Patrice Evra Tweeted To ‘Man Utd Board’ After West Ham Loss

Patrice Evra has publicly offered to help out the Manchester United board.

The 2-0 defeat to West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday only added to the Red Devils’ poor start to the 2019-20 campaign.

While some supporters placed the blame of the poor performance at manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s feet, others targeted several players from the squad for their lack of desire and ability.

However, almost everyone associated with the Old Trafford club–be it fans, former players, or pundits–collectively agree that the party that is at fault the most is the club’s board.

The Manchester United hierarchy’s focus on making money and profits over improving the brand of football and establishing a long-term vision at the Theatre of Dreams continues to directly contribute to the club’s downfall.

Now, to help the board improve the matter, club legend Patrice Evra has nominated himself through a brave social media post.

The Frenchman uploaded a picture of himself kissing the United badge on all his social media handles, with the caption: “I think it’s time to get our hands dirty! Manchester United board, are you ready to let us help you guys…?”

By “us”, Evra seems to be referring to the former players that were a part of Sir Alex Ferguson’s humongously successful squad, especially the ones who have been linked with the yet-to-be-instated director of football position at the club.

The decorated left-back revealed his intentions further by replying to a comment on his Instagram post. When a user asked him to “handle the transfers at the club”, Evra immediately responded by promising: “Paulo Dybala will be my first”.
