Real Madrid Set To Offer Vinicius Junior Plus £42m For Paul Pogba
The rumour mills have spun yet again, and unsurprisingly, Real Madrid have once again been linked with a move for Manchester United’s star midfielder, Paul Pogba.
Los Blancos’ gaffer Zinedine Zidane has retained his interest in his fellow compatriot, and he is now said to be preparing a player-plus-cash move to lure the 2016 World Cup winner to the Bernabeu outfit come January.
According to El Desmarque, the La Liga juggernauts are set to offer a fee of £42 million, along with the services of their out-of-favour Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior, in exchange for the 26-year-old central midfielder.
However, this bid is very likely to end in failure, as the Mancunian giants value their player much more highly.
The report says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has absolutely no intention of accepting Real Madrid’s offer unless they double the offered amount at the very least, and also keep 19-year-old Junior as part of the deal.
But if his demands are met, the Norwegian might just let go of the French international, who has only featured six times for the Red Devils this season due to his long-term ankle injury.

Pogba’s attitude while out injured has still managed to irk a few people associated with Manchester United, including former goalkeeper Mark Bosnich, who has urged the club to get rid of the player if speculation surrounding his uncertain future continues.
“It doesn’t sound good,” Bosnich said (via the Mirror). “It sounds exactly like he’s trying to force a move. If that’s the case, Manchester United should make their minds up immediately.
“Regardless of the player you are on a world standing, you can ill afford to be spending four or five months on the bench. But if that is the case, there’s no use other than to turn around and say, ‘OK, we’re going to get the best price for you’. And I wouldn’t be selling him for any less than he’s worth.”
