Fernandes Excites United Fans After Liking Instagram Post About Sancho

Social media has indeed added numerous elements to the great game. While the lockdown months certainly saw the absence of players on the pitch, their social media antics succeeded in keeping some connection afloat.

This has been the case from a while now, with their activities on Twitter and Instagram setting off heaps of speculation and being interpreted as endorsements of certain claims.

The most recent such flurry involves Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho.

Borussia Dortmund’s breakthrough star has been touted to be Manchester United bound for quite a while now.

The links keep flowing in and in terms of concrete claims much variety exists, particularly with regard to how the Red Devils will fund the move for the young forward.

However, a completely different situation occurred when Sancho’s tattoos were analyzed by an Instagram account.

The content would have been ignored if not for the fact that none other than Bruno Fernandes chose to like it.

 

This led to a considerable section of United’s fan base to make the leap that their latest acquisition from Portugal was somehow involved in bringing Sancho to Old Trafford.

While the actual post in question had to do with the English starlet, the mere like doesn’t entirely spell out a connection.

As such, if any transfer development does occur, it is unlikely that Fernandes will have played a role in any manner apart from coming across as an added bonus to play alongside, should the move occur.
