Paul Pogba Is Looking Forward To Play With Jadon Sancho
Manchester United’s tryst with Jadon Sancho looks likely to take the long route. Most recent claims suggested that Borussia Dortmund had given the Red Devils just over a month to seal a deal for the promising winger.
While personal terms are believed to be agreed between the English starlet and the club, the two clubs are yet to decide on a transfer fee which is keeping the deal in limbo.
Meanwhile, the prospect of Sancho playing at Old Trafford has already begun to excite a popular name, if reports are to be believed.
As per the Athletic, Paul Pogba has told his teammates that he is “excited” at the prospect of playing alongside Sancho next season. United have been tipped to secure the services of the 20-year-old for quite a while now and a desire to have him fill the coveted right-wing spot is certainly strong.
Incidentally, Pogba himself looked to be exit-bound for quite a while now but recent murmurs suggest that he is presently happy with the turn of fortunes at the side.
The pairing with new arrival Bruno Fernandes has been a deeply rewarding and entertaining prospect for both the Frenchman and fans of the club. The possibility of a talent like Sancho adding to their dynamics has already riled up imaginations of Red Devils across the world.
In that regard, it may perhaps be just as important for Ole Gunnar Solskjær and company to tie down Pogba to a fresh long-term deal as it is to acquire a player of Sancho’s caliber.
The recent rise of Mason Greenwood does make one question the wisdom of splashing cash on another youngster, but an injury to even one of these excellent stars could uncover the lack of depth that United’s roster suffered from for a bit.
