Fans Are Talking About Donny van de Beek’s Reaction From The Bench
After a poor performance in the transfer window in terms of negotiations, Manchester United have went on to suffer a massive defeat in their first Premier League clash of the season, as Crystal Palace secured the match with a scoreline of 3-1.
Whilst the match offered the Old Trafford faithful a bit of disappointment, the supporters found some material to be excited about, as a clip of new addition Donny van de Beek surfaced on social media.
The former Ajax star was accordingly spotted on the bench as ‘ecstatic’, described by some, and ‘stressed’ by others. A few of the fans also exploited the current circumstances of the club to jokingly state that the 23-year-old was “thinking about his life decisions.”
Although the fixture ended with a suffering result for the Mancunians, the new midfielder successfully made his mark in the game by scoring his debut goal in the Red shirt, blasting the ball into the bottom corner.

Coming from Ajax for an initial fee of £35 million, the club manager and the supporters had celebrated how the Dutch international performed in the club friendlies pre-season.
Persisting with his form nevertheless, the talented midfielder took only 14 minutes to register his first goal for the Red Devils after coming off the bench at 67th minute replacing Paul Pogba.
Despite the goal however, the star had openly disclosed how he feels the current situation is not enough, claiming he’s unhappy with the result, describing it as ‘really bad’. Regardless, the youngster’s mindset to improve while performing well on the pitch has boosted the spirits of the fans to an extent.
Nevertheless, the supporters expect the club to learn from the current shortcomings to up their game in the upcoming fixtures, and also to make some impact in the transfer market with the window set to close soon.
