Memphis Depay Hits Out At ‘Toilet Roll, Water And Capri Sun’ Report
Memphis Depay has mocked an article about the Manchester United star shopping for “toilet paper, water and Capri Sun”.
Memphis Depay may well have been involved in one of the biggest transfers during last summer’s transfer window. Having signed a £150,000-a-week contract with the Red Devils last summer, Depay was unlikely to be leaving Old Trafford during the January transfer window, but things were all but fairly quiet for him on this occasion.
Memphis Depay was spotted by Mail Online journalist James Dutton, who apparently had nothing better to do on the Transfer deadline day, and decided to report the ‘important’ news of how Memphis Depay went on a shopping ‘spree’ for basic commodities.
The Dutchman shared the story with his Twitter followers, exclaiming at how ‘lucky’ he was to be the biggest news story of the day.
Great response, Memphis!
