Twitter Reacts After Sources Claim Pochettino Will Be Man United Manager Next Season
Twitter went crazy after BBC’s Dan Walker hinted that Manchester United were preparing a move for Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino to take over as manager from next season.
Manchester United fans want former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to take over as manager from next season. He is also the bookmakers’ favourite to be the next man in charge at Old Trafford, but according to BBC presenter Dan Walker, a number of sources have suggested that United are looking at Pochettino.
Louis van Gaal has been under intense pressure this season, but it seems United and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward will, at least, allow the Dutchman to see out the remainder of the season.
The Argentinian coach is also said to be on Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s shortlist for the Stamford Bridge job.
Former Manchester United player and now pundit Michael Owen also reacted after he was asked about the possibility of Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone arriving at Old Trafford.
Twitter reactions suggest Manchester United fans will take almost anyone in place of Louis van Gaal at the moment.
However, the match against Stoke City gave manager Louis van Gaal a rare night of relaxation, and fans were quite impressed by Red Devils’ performance. Check out their reactions:
